The Village of Mt. Morris was incorporated in 1857, operates as a non-home rule municipality. Mt. Morris is governed by a Village President and a Board of six Trustees. The Village President and Board of Trustees are elected at large at a municipal election and hold office for four years.
Regular Village Board meetings are the second and fourth Tuesday at 7:00 pm at Village Hall. All residents are welcome and encouraged to attend. All meetings are recorded.
