Established in 1976, the Mt Morris Senior Citizens Council, Inc. is committed to promoting the general welfare and fostering the development of programs and services for older adults and others. We also strive to cultivate friendships, develop mutual interests, share social, educational, health and fitness benefits, and to educate the community about the needs and capabilities of senior citizens.
A non-profit 501 (c) (3) organization
A service to older adults and the disabled for home delivery grocery service. Here’s how it works, you set up an account with Sullivans, place your order on Wednesday, the senior center volunteer will deliver your order on Thursday morning to your door. A donation to the senior center is appreciated.
With a heritage of more than 120 years of caring for seniors, Pinecrest Community has developed into a vibrant, active community of nearly 200 seniors living in active-adult cottage homes at Pinecrest Grove, Pinecrest Village independent apartments and homes, Pinecrest Manor intermediate and skilled care living, and Pinecrest Terrace, a state of the art specialized Alzheimer’s and memory care center.
As a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, Pinecrest’s Christian heritage and church affiliation still guide our efforts to do what we’ve always done, and what we do best: providing our residents with the resources to lead rich, rewarding lives. For more information about the services we provide, please call 814-734-4103.

40 Years of Service to Ogle County Residents!
Though the name Rock River Center is a relatively new one, the history of the Center is long. Initially called the Yellow Bird Senior Citizens Drop-in Center in 1975, then later Ogle County Senior Services, the Rock River Center has remained focused on older adults and the services they need to remain healthy in mind, body and spirit while providing a solution to the social isolation of growing population of older adults.
Initially a storefront operation run by volunteers with the goal of providing support to one another and a place to socialize, the Center has grown over the years so that today, an Executive Director and 14 staff members work five days a week providing core, quality of life services, such as outreach and referral to families or adults seeking government assistance, Medicare guidance and other benefits such as prescription assistance, tax preparation, homemaking, meals on wheels, transportation and volunteer opportunities.
