Catch MORE Holiday Spirit in My Town
Our holiday spirit didn’t end with Christmas in the Village on December 6. This month offers more chances to jingle, mingle, and make memories that warm your heart.
White Pines Lodge and Restaurant, 6712 W. Pines Rd., is nestled in the White Pines State Park winter wonderland. Surrounded by pine trees, streams, and walking trails, you can stay in a log cabin, shop for unique items in the gift shop, and enjoy fine dining in the restaurant.

- Start a holiday tradition at Scrooge, the Comedy Show. Call 815-655-2400 for tickets to matinee or evening performances.
- Dec. 13, have Breakfast with Santa and the Grinch from 9 to 11 a.m.; wagon rides are 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., $5 per person.
- Dec. 14, visit Mr. Claus from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Get inspired at the Mt. Morris Public Library. A library card is not required for any activities.

- Dec. 2-20 is a holiday decoration exchange. Bring in yours and take home ‘new.’
- Dec. 18, 6:00 p.m. Kids of all ages love LEGO® Night. It’s free and open to all ages; those 8 years and younger must be accompanied by an adult.
