Mt. Morris Jamboree – Captain Rat & the Blind Rivets
Captain Rat and the Blind Rivets hit the Mt. Morris Jamboree free concert stage for the first time, August 15, 7-9 p.m., with 50s and 60s rock and roll. There are some handicap accessible permanent benches and lots of green space for lawn chairs. Arrive early to get a good spot and sample the food scene, visit the art gallery or museum on campus, and shop the sidewalk vendors. The concerts are free, although donations are welcome.
Featured food: Local charitable organizations will sell food starting at 6 p.m. Just 4 Fun Ice Cream will provide sweet treats, and the MM Sr. and Community Center will sell popcorn.
