Mt. Morris Jamboree – Dan Lepien Band
Dan Lepien Band makes their Mt. Morris Jamboree debut on the Village square campus on Friday, July 24. Dan, hailing from Sauk City, Wisconsin, is a fully independent artist carrying the torch for pure, traditional country music. Known for well-crafted songwriting, a road warrior work ethic, and an authentic sound often compared to country legends, he has built a loyal following.
This free concert is open to the public. There are some handicap accessible permanent benches and lots of green space for lawn chairs. Arrive early to get a good spot and sample the food scene, visit the art gallery or museum on campus, and shop the sidewalk vendors. The concerts are free, although donations are welcome.
Featured food: Local charitable organizations will sell food starting at 6 p.m. Just 4 Fun Ice Cream will provide sweet treats, and the MM Sr. and Community Center will sell popcorn. Food truck options vary each week.
