Straw Sculpting Competition Free Concert – Acoustic Axis

Saturday, August 15, regional musicians Acoustic Axis will rock the Warren G. Reckmeyer band shell. Playing a kickin’ blend of classic rock, acoustic licks, and blues, you will not soon forget this rockin’ performance.

U.S. National Straw Sculpting Competition free concerts are 7-9 p.m. on the Mt. Morris campus, August 8, 15, and 22. There are some handicap-accessible permanent benches and lots of green space for lawn chairs. Explore the straw sculptures and vote for your favorite! Sample the food scene and visit the art gallery or museum on campus. The concerts are free, although donations are welcome.
