Straw Sculpting Competition Free Concert – Grass Attack

Festival favorite Grass Attack returns to the Warren G. Reckmeyer band shell on Saturday, August 22, bringing classic and new bluegrass. Don’t miss this fun concert, sponsored by Encore Mt. Morris, that closes out Strawfest Day festivities.

U.S. National Straw Sculpting Competition free concerts are 7-9 p.m. on the Mt. Morris campus, August 8, 15, and 22. There are some handicap-accessible permanent benches and lots of green space for lawn chairs. Explore the straw sculptures and take a selfie with your favorite! Sample the food scene and visit the art gallery or museum on campus. The concerts are free, although donations are welcome.
