Summer Concerts on the Campus
On Wednesday and Friday nights you will want to come to uptown Mt. Morris and enjoy our Bandshell concerts on our “Historical Campus”.
Kable Band Concerts have been taking place in the Village of Mt. Morris for the past 119 years. The Kable Band is under the direction of Andy Eckhart. Guest performers contribute to the evening every Wednesday. Ice Cream Social begins at 7pm. Concert begins at 8pm. Wednesday night concerts schedule for 2017 begins on June 14th through August 2nd, 2017
Friday nights have now been added to the mix, thanks in part to the Mt. Morris Village Board and from the idea of Mt. Morris resident Larry Ubben. These concerts provide local talent the opportunity to come to the stage and present a fun evening for the community. Each Friday evening, local organizations will be providing food, groups and organizations are also encouraged to sign up for concessions of their own offering sandwiches, etc. Concerts run from 7:00-9:00 pm. Friday night concerts run from June 3rd through Sept.8th,2017.
