LEAF, BRUSH & SNOW REMOVAL

Leaf vacuuming by the Village begins around the third week of October and ends around December 1, depending upon weather. No leaf vacuuming in the Spring.

  • Leaves must be loose (not bagged) along the curb.
  • No sticks or yard waste in the leaf piles.
  • Please leave space before and after the leaf piles, to make vacuuming easier.

Snow removal by the Village. When the accumulated snowfall is 2 inches or more you may not park on the street for 48 hours, except for Odd/Even Parking:

  • On even-numbered calendar days you may park on the side of the street with even-numbered buildings, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
  • On odd-numbered calendar days you may park on the side of the street with odd-numbered buildings between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m.
  • No parking in the Business District from 2 a.m. to 6 a.m.

In general, please use off-street parking when possible so the Village plows may effectively clear the streets. Your patience is appreciated.
