RESIDENT WELL-BEING CHECKS

The Mt. Morris Police Department offers a program that provides daily contact with residents to assure their well-being.

Residents who register with this program will call the Police Department’s non-emergency number daily by a pre-determined time. If a call is not received, a member of the Police Department will attempt to make contact via telephone. If no response is received, an officer will be dispatched to their residence to check on their well-being.

A form to sign up for this program is available at the Police Department.

MT. MORRIS POLICE COMMISSION

The Mt. Morris Police Commission has three members who are appointed by the Village President and subject to Village Board approval. They conduct testing and maintain a hiring list. Formal testing is advertised in local media as well as this site.
