Kable Concert Band

Enjoy a free band concert every Wednesday at 7:30 p.m., from June 12 through July 31. Talented area musicians have performed in this municipal band at the Warren G. Reckmeyer Bandshell on the campus square every year since 1896. Band members, and guest performers and conductors are some of the best in the region. Arrive early for the Ice Cream Social hosted weekly by various local organizations. It’s a charming slice of rural America that reminds you of simpler times and small-town pleasures.

Easily accessible and with free on-street parking, the bandshell faces Wesley Avenue, between Center and Main Streets. There are rows of permanent seating and beautiful shaded grounds for setting up lawn chairs or just grabbing a spot on the grass.
