Whether you love the game, the commercials, or the half-time show, celebrate all of it at the local pubs. Bring your friends to Mullarkey’s Bar & Grill, 12 W. Main St., and the Idle Hour, 115 S. Wesley, on Superbowl Sunday, February 9, for the cheer, the drinks, the food, and the fun.
Celebrate Valentine’s Day with kid’s activities at the Mt. Morris Public Library, 105 S. McKendrie, and a February 7 dance party at the Mt. Morris Senior & Community Center, 9 E. Front St. Or, celebrate with the traditional love language – food! Have a Valentine’s Day breakfast, lunch or dinner at the Campus Café on the campus uptown, or Nava Family Restaurant, the Pepper Mill or Cimino’s Pizza, along Hitt Street/Route 64. Celebrating Mt. Morris History
Chris Mann, grandson of talented Mt. Morris artist, Heathcote “Hec” Mann, will tell us more about Hec’s fascinating life at the Mt. Morris Historical Museum on February 15, 10a to 2p. Hec’s unique and clever cartoons about life in 1920’s Mt. Morris are featured in a special exhibit. The museum is in College Hall, 16 S. Wesley Ave., on the campus uptown.
