Mt. Morris hosted the 9th Annual National Straw Sculpting Competition – affectionally known as Strawfest by the locals. Talented artists submitted creative, whimsical, and remarkably detailed sculptures made of straw for fame, glory, fun, and prizes. If you didn’t get a chance to take part in the festivities, stop by soon to see the sculptures scattered across the campus. Sculptures will go into storage around mid-September.
